Fairbanks Alaska

Maya attends Ryan Middle School.  She decided to give ice sculpting a try during Spring Break because it looks "fun and cool and interesting"  

She has carved a little with her uncle when she made faces in wood, just for fun.  Maya has been drawing since age 3 and paints as well.  

Her artistic merits include winning the "Water Walk and Run Design Competition" for elementary students city wide.  She typically draws nature and animals and she looks forward to expanding her artistic boundaries.
