Luba grew up in Estonia before moving to Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she resides with her husband and three children.  She was first introduced to Ice sculpting in Grand Rapids Community College where she studied Culinary Arts.  Luba teaches the GRCC Ice Carving class and has competed in several NICA competitions.
