BANGKOK, THAILAND

Manu Songsri is an artist from Bangkok, Thailand.  He is experienced in carving ice, fruits and vegetables for various 5-Star hotels in Bangkok.    Manu has worked at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel in Bangkok since 1994.

He has participated in numerous carving competitions around Asia and has won many awards, most recently 3rd Place at the 2013 Team Snow Sculpture, Harbin China; 2nd Place in the 2011 Team Ice Sculpture, Harbin, China; Silver Medal and Best Artist Award Ice Carving , 2008 FHA Culinary Challenge, Singapore.

2014 was Manu's first trip to Alaska and the BP World Ice Art Championships.  His team placed 3rd in Multi Block Abstract, and he returns again to this year's competition.
