Rindy is a registered nurse from California who discovered ice sculpting ten years ago while taking cooking classes. She knew she was bitten by the ice sculpting bug when she went home and told her husband she wished she had her own chainsaw. He gave her his chainsaw and she has been carving for special events at the hospital since. Sculpting in the Single Block Classic is a dream come true, and this is her first time at the World Ice Art Championships.
