'Representing Panama

Cristina was born in Panama.

In her later years, she moved to Augusta, Georgia where she had her first experience with ice sculpting as a Culinary Art. She now resides in Fairbanks and attends the UAF Culinary Arts program.  

Her Instructor, Chef Eddy Walker, introduced her to Ice Alaska.  She became an Ice Alaska volunteer and met ice sculptor, Julio Martinez who began teaching her how to work with ice.  She liked it enough that she decided to become his team mate in the Single Block Classic.
