John is a Minnesota born Alaska resident for 48 years. Woodcarving for 18 years and icecarving for 9 years: in Soldotna for the Peninsula Winter Games and Anchorage for the Crystal Gallery of Ice. He and his teammate like carving the big ice in Fairbanks and meeting people from all over the world.
