Mario's awards include:  2005 Artists Choice Ottawa;  2005 World Champion, Alaska; 2008 First Place, Khabarovsk, Russia; 2009 Governor’s Award, Alaska; 2010 Public Choice Lake Louise, Canada; 2011 Public Choice award London Ice Art Festival. 

His Ice Alaska Awards include 1st Place, 2011 Multi-Block; 2nd Place, 2012 Multi-Block; 3rd Place, 2013 Multi-Block; 5th Place, 2013 Single Block; 1st Place, 2014 Multi-Block.
