Please come by and see these beautiful, imaginative and artistic masterpieces.
Double Block competition begins tomorrow, February 23, at 8:00AM. Each team of two carvers is provided 2 blocks of ice, each approximately 6’x4’x3’ and weighing approximately 8,200 pounds. The teams have three days in which to complete their sculptures. There are ten teams signed up to carve, which means the Enchanted Forest will be busy and noisy again. And great fun to watch!!
The first ever Family Snow Sculpture Competition has ended. A second competition is planned for March 13 and 14. Think about trying your hand at carving. Go online and fill out an application. The first family who carved, Micah and Sydney Peebles, had never carved before and had such fun with their block of snow which they titled “George”.
“Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods full up with snow.” (with ice)
