Today for lunch I wandered over to the gift shop and bought some cheese nachos from Arctic Habanero. Very tasty with lots of pickled jalapenos on top. I noticed a guest book sitting on one of the tables. As I was glancing through it I couldn’t help but think of a US geography lesson because so many people have signed the book from ALL over the United States. From Alaska there are dozens of signatures. One visitor from Anchorage mentioned how cold it is while one visitor from Wasilla said, “I’ve wanted to do this for twenty years. It’s beautiful. Thank you. It’s snow much fun”. Two other comments from Alaska were: “Really fun for grown up kids” and “What a wonderful way to get outside. Thanks for all your work”. Many visitors from various states used the words awesome, beautiful, amazing, breathtaking and magical. Comments from Las Vegas and Texas mentioned the cold. One comment in particular from Texas said, “Brrrrrrrrrrrr!”
From Arkansas, a person commented on Baby Yoda. One from Colorado said, “Very fun; gorgeous ice”. From Idaho, “Slides are awesome.” One of my favorite comments is from a visitor from Minneapolis, Minnesota: “This is my second time here in ten years. It is not to be missed”. There were pages and pages in the guest book, all filled with glowing endorsements of Ice Alaska: “Much fun, love it”, “The art here is so cool”, “Ice Ice Baby” and “So fun, felt like a kid.” And I’ll leave you with one fun comment from California which seems to sum up the entire guest book: “I love it”.
