The Planning Committee has been dilligently working this September, outlining a budget and features for the 2019 World Ice Art Championships and Ice Fesival.  

We are happy to announce World ICE Association and Tanana Valley State Fair Association have formalized the lease agreement for us to produce the 2019 World Ice Art Championships at the Fairgrounds.  This now allows the Planners and Volunteers to focus their energy on the Event Agenda and Logistics.    Want to be a part of this year's event?  We invite you to complete the Volunteer Application and sign up with a department.  The 2019 Planning Committee is now meeting weekly.  Each Tuesday night 5:30 to 7:00 at the Fairgrounds.  

Some of the activities we're working on, Competitions: Single Carver Single Block, Two Carver Two Block, Multi Block, Youth Competition, Also, an Ice Carving Clinic, Interactive Ice Park, and other activities.  Also, we have use of a beautiful pond to produce some nice Fairbanks Blue Diamond Ice!
